Market regulator SEBI amended The Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) regulations and notified on June 8, 2018 that after December 5, 2018, except in the case of transmission or transposition of securities, requests for the transfer of stock shall not be processed unless the securities are held in the dematerialized form with a depository.
